Do you want be a songwriter?
Well here’s
a great opportunity. The music has already been written. All you
have to do is write meaningful lyrics to fit the melody and
you’re on your way. This contest is open to the entire student
body. After all lyrics are submitted they will be evaluated by the
Music and Language Arts teams for poetic and lyrical content.
To help you
to understand the general feeling of the song we have supplied a
very basic recording that you can access on the HKMS website. Once
the lyrics are selected a singer will be chosen to perform and
possibly record the song. We hope to perform the new song at our
spring concert.
