Students will
design and assume responsibility for the publication of the HKMS
Yearbook. This activity gives students experience in copy-writing,
layout and publication strategies.
Eligibility:
This activity is open all students in grades 5-8.
Expenses:
None
Time/Date:
The Yearbook Staff usually meets after school on Wednesday, 2:45–4:00
P.M. in Room 203. During October, November, December and January, the yearbook
meetings will be scheduled according to grade level. During January and
February, some meetings may last until 5 P.M. in order to meet the
deadline
Student
Responsibility:
Consistent effort is the only requirement for yearbook staff. If a
student misses meetings, someone else will have to pick up his/her job.
Parent
Responsibility:
Provide transportation after school and pick up students promptly.
