The Helen
Keller faculty and administration is proud to share with parents the
extra-curricular activities that are available to HKMS students. These
activities are intended to help students explore a variety of interests
and talents. As you will see, our activities are broad-based and offer
both curricular reinforcement and enrichment opportunities in
leadership, math, athletics, music and community service.
Throughout the year a variety of
diverse experiences will also become available through classes and field
trips. It is the student’s responsibility to communicate these
opportunities to parents if they wish to participate. We request that
parents respect our published deadlines for sign-up and provide
transportation within the published time frame for both before school
and after school activities.
For the most part, expenses for these
programs are underwritten by the Student Activity Fund. Your support of
the HKMS Magazine Drive has been instrumental in the successful
continuation of these programs. |
