The Concert
Choir is open to seventh and eighth graders by audition only.
Participants will learn a variety of music from the Renaissance through
the Twentieth Century. They often represent the school at various
public functions and offer Winter and Spring Concerts. Good vocal
production, sight singing, theory, and music reading are stressed as
well as the development of a group choral sound. This is a mixed voice
group and members are also expected to participate in Chorus.
Sixth graders
will have the opportunity to audition for Concert Choir as openings
become available.
Students must be
willing to attend Concert Choir rehearsals on time and on a regular
basis.
Expense:
Individual events/trips might require student expense. |
