Students will:
- work cooperatively, in groups, to research information on the cultures
of their countries.
- explore secondary sources, using the cookbooks from the
Easton Public Library and the Helen Keller Middle School Media
Center.

Search for and select a recipe that is
typical to the country and one that you will be able to make.

Working in groups, select
sub-topics of culture (equal to twice the number of students in
your group) that are of interest to you, research and
answer the guiding questions.
- explore the pre-selected websites to gather information
relevant to their country.
- Search and locate appropriate graphics to match the
sub-topic and save as a .jpeg.
- Insert graphics for each sub-topic being research.
- organize information using Inspiration and the
color-coded notes pages
- use the correct "Works
Cited" format when citing resources
- create a two-three page product to be included as part of
the class cookbook (Publisher), using the following technology
competencies:
