DESCRIPTION
OF COURSES
The World Language
program at Helen Keller Middle School offers students the opportunity to
pursue the study of French or Spanish. This program prepares them for a
successful transition into the language program at Joel Barlow High
School. Students are encouraged to develop a lifelong interest in world
languages and cultures through a variety of experiences and activities.
While developing an understanding and an appreciation for the language
within its multicultural context, students acquire proficiency in
listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
