OBJECTIVES: Students
will:
discuss the difference between reading fiction and
non-fiction
use keywords to explain/expound on the topic
use strategies for reading non-fiction
choose a topic that includes enough information to research
(either individually, in pairs or groups of 3)
review proper presentation skills including, but not limited
to dress, eye contact, posture, projecting voice.

TECHNOLOGY:
- create presentation using
Powerpoint
- enhance presentation using different
fonts, styles, colors, and graphics
- locate graphics and/or clipart to
match the topic
- save graphics as a .jpeg under Student
Work in folder designated by teacher
- insert graphics into the presentation
- utilize animation schemes and slide
transitions to create final presentation
- save the file as a presentation in the
designed "Student Work" folder and individual folders
- save the file as a "Powerpoint Show" in
the designed "Student Work" folder and individual folders for
automatic automatic viewing
