Project Description:
Your team
has been hired by the town of Easton to write, direct and produce a
Spanish news program. In addition to the broadcast, you will also create a
newspaper of all of your top stories.
Each team must cover these important topics:
World News
Town News
School News
The Weather
There are two major components of this project:
Written Component---Creating
a Newspaper
Write individual articles about your specific
assignment

Paragraphs
Combine your team articles to create the
newspaper
- Use Microsoft
Publisher for the template
- Include clip art
and photos
- Edit for typos and
grammatical errors
Oral Component---Presenting
a News Program
Condense your article information on to note
cards for your broadcast
Find or create graphics to accompany your news
story
Add creative components such as music,
costumes and props
Practice your program multiple times to
perfect your pronunciation and voice quality
Assessment:
- You will need to work together to create a
successful and impressive newspaper and TV program.
- Each student will receive an individual grade
for their work.
Team progress will
be checked daily and each team member must report their individual
contributions.
You will receive two separate grades
